Merger Arbitrage Mondays – June 25, 2018

- The acquisition of CoBiz Financial (COBZ) by BOK Financial Corporation (BOKF) for $977 million in a cash plus stock deal. Under the terms of the agreement, shareholders of CoBiz Financial will receive 0.17 shares of BOK Financial common stock and $5.70 in cash for each share of CoBiz common stock.
- The acquisition of Rent-A-Center (RCII) by Vintage Capital for $1.365 billion or $15.00 per share in cash. We added RCII as a potential deal to the Deals in the Works section on July 10, 2017 and the price after the news of the potential deal came out was $11.10.
- The acquisition of Energy XXI Gulf Coast (EGC) by a Cox Oil affiliate for $322 million or $9.10 per share in cash.
