- The acquisition of Heartware International (HTWR) by Medtronic (MDT) for $1.1 billion or $58.00 per share in cash.
- The acquisition of Suffolk Bancorp (SCNB) by People’s United Financial (PBCT) for $402 million in an all stock deal. Under the terms of the agreement, shareholders of Suffolk Bancorp will receive 2.225 shares of People’s United Financial stock for each Suffolk Bancorp share.
- The acquisition of ReachLocal (RLOC) by Gannett (GCI) for $156 million or $4.60 per share in cash.
