- EVO: Bloomberg reported Triton Partners is considering a takeover bid for Germany’s Evotec SE (EVO).
- HUM: Cigna (CI) confirmed it won’t pursue a merger with Humana (HUM), stating it remains focused on acquisitions that align strategically and financially and have a high probability of closing.
- ME: 23andMe (ME) announced a business restructuring to streamline operations and reduce costs. It is discontinuing the further development of all its therapeutic programs while evaluating strategic alternatives for its clinical and preclinical assets. The Company is reducing its overall headcount by over 200 employees, representing approximately 40% of the workforce.
