Merger Arbitrage

1. NATL: Brink’s Co (BCO) announced that it has secured clearance for the acquisition of NCR Atleos (NATL) in key jurisdictions, including the United States, Brazil, and India. The companies estimate the closing to be early in the first quarter of 2027.
2. ZIM: Competition Canada cleared the acquisition of ZIM Integrated Shipping Services (ZIM) by Hapag-Lloyd on July 27, 2026.
3. AXTA: Axalta Coating (AXTA) announced that its shareholders voted to approve its merger of equals with Akzo Nobel (AKZOF). The companies expect the merger to be completed in late 2026 to early 2027.
