Pactiv Evergreen to be Acquired by Novolex in an All-Cash Deal for $6.7 Billion

Apollo Global Management-owned (APO) packaging company Novolex on December 9, 2024, entered a merger agreement to acquire Pactiv Evergreen Inc. (PTVE) in a cash deal valued at $6.7 billion.

Deal Structure:

According to the agreement, Novolex will acquire Pactiv Evergreen for $18.00 per share in cash, representing a 22.62% premium from the stock’s last close.
