Merger Arbitrage

1. OLK: The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) launched its merger inquiry for the acquisition of Olink Holding (OLK) by Thermo Fisher Scientific (TMO).
2. ALPN: Alpine Immune Sciences, Inc. (ALPN) announced that Alpine and Vertex (VRTX) had filed the respective Premerger Notification and Report Forms with the FTC and the Antitrust Division on April 24, 2024, and the required waiting period under the HSR Act for the merger expired on May 9, 2024.
3. FUSN: Fusion Pharmaceuticals (FUSN) cleared the initial 45-day review period under the Investment Canada Act on May 9, 2024, without receipt of a notice, thus satisfying the condition for its merger with AstraZeneca (AZN).
