Merger Arbitrage

1. JNPR: The acquisition of Juniper Networks (JNPR) by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) for $14.31 billion or $40 per share in cash.
2. HA: Hawaiian Holdings (HA) announced that the special meeting of stockholders to consider and vote on a proposal to adopt the Agreement and Plan of Merger with Alaska Air Group (ALK) will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024.
3. HA: Hawaiian Holdings (HA) and Alaska Airlines (ALK) filed their respective HSR Act notifications with the DOJ and FTC in connection with their pending merger on January 8, 2024. The initial 30-day waiting period expires on February 7, 2024.
