Merger Arbitrage

1. PTRS: LINKBANCORP (LNKB) and Partners Bancorp (PTRS) announced receipt of regulatory approval from the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the final regulatory approval required to complete the previously announced merger of equals transaction. The Merger is expected to close on November 30, 2023.
2. ARGO: The acquisition of Argo Group International Holdings (ARGO) by Brookfield Reinsurance (BNRE) was completed on November 16, 2023. It took 281 days for this deal to be completed.
3. CHS: Chico’s FAS, Inc. (CHS) and Sycamore Partners made the filings required under the HSR Act on October 12, 2023. The waiting period under the HSR Act expired on November 13, 2023.
