According to a regulatory filing, Wendy’s Co’s (WEN) largest shareholder Nelson Peltz is considering a potential takeover bid for the burger chain.

Trian Fund Management, Peltz’ firm, said it will explore a transaction on its own or with others that could include an acquisition, business combination or other transaction.
