According to WSJ, Health insurers Cigna (CI) and Humana (HUM) are in talks for a merger. The companies are discussing a stock-and-cash deal that could be finalized by the end of the year.

December 10, 2023: Cigna Group abandoned its pursuit of a tie-up with Humana after shareholders balked at a deal that would have created a roughly $140 billion giant in the health-insurance industry.
