According to Reuters, Vision One Management Partners, a fund co-founded by former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and former Carl Icahn protege Courtney Mather has built a stake in Kohl’s and is pushing the company  to sell itself.

Previously, we added Kohl’s deal on December 2021 when activist investor Engine Capital urged department-store chain Kohl’s Corp. (KSS) to consider a sale of the company. On July 01, 2022, Kohl’s Corporation (KSS) announced that following the exclusive negotiation period with Franchise Group the Kohl’s Board of Directors concluded its strategic review process.
