December 11, 2023: CNBC reported that Endeavor Group falls amid report Silver Lake deal not imminent. Silver Lake is still doing due diligence, they haven’t discussed price or set up a special committee yet, according to CNBC’s David Faber. A bid could be made before the end of January.
January 19, 2024: According to Bloomberg, Silver Lake’s offer will be made to Endeavor’s (EDR) independent directors, who will subsequently engage advisers to assess the bids and provide a recommendation. Silver Lake plans to sell parts of the company after it takes it private.
February 27, 2024: According to CNBC’s David Faber, Silver Lake is still expected to make a bid in March.
