German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE’s e-commerce arm NuCom Group is exploring the acquisition of U.S. live streaming app developer Meet Group Inc (MEET), people familiar with the matter said.

March 04, 2020: German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE’s  e-commerce arm NuCom Group is nearing a deal to acquire Meet Group Inc (MEET) that could value the U.S. dating app developer at more than $500 million, people familiar with the matter said on Wednesday.

March 05, 2020: The Meet Group, Inc. (MEET), a leading portfolio of mobile dating apps, today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by ProSiebenSat.1`s and General Atlantic’s joint company NuCom Group in an all cash transaction for $6.30 per fully diluted share representing an enterprise value of approximately $500 million.
