Medical supplies provider Baxter International Inc (BAX) has approached medication management software vendor Omnicell Inc (OMCL) with an offer to acquire it for more than $5 billion, people familiar with the matter said.

March 11, 2021: Omnicell (OMCL) is said to have received a new $150 per share takeover offer from Baxter (BAX).
