According to Bloomberg, Qualcomm (QCOM) approached by Broadcom (AVGO)

Broadcom Ltd. (AVGO) is considering a bid of more than $100 billion for Qualcomm Inc., (QCOM) according to people familiar with the matter, in what would be the biggest-ever takeover of a chipmaker.

November 6, 2017:  Broadcom (AVGOproposed to acquire Qualcomm (QCOM) for $70.00 per share in cash and stock in a transaction valued at $130 billion.

November 13, 2017: Qualcomm Incorporated (QCOM) today announced that its Board of Directors unanimously rejected the unsolicited proposal announced by Broadcom Limited (AVGO) .
