  1. BERY: Amcor (AMCR) and Berry Global (BERY) announced the expiration of the waiting period under the HSR Act. The companies also confirm that additional approvals have been received from regulatory authorities in recent weeks, including antitrust clearances from China and Brazil.
  2. BECN: QXO (QXO) announced that it is extending its all-cash tender offer to acquire all outstanding shares of Beacon Roofing (BECN) to March 14, 2025. Computershare Trust Company reported that as of March 10, about 11.12 million shares have been validly tendered, representing about 18.05% of the issued and outstanding shares.
  3. VBFC: TowneBank (TOWN) and Village Bank and Trust Financial (VBFC) announced that the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Virginia State Corporation Commission have approved the regulatory applications filed in connection with TowneBank’s acquisition of Village. The merger is expected to be completed at the beginning of April 2025.
