1. ACI: Kroger (KR) announced that it is swapping at least $6.8 billion of Albertsons (ACI) notes for new securities, representing about 92% of the securities it offered to exchange earlier this month.
2. AUGX: Augmedix (AUGX) filed a definitive proxy statement. The special meeting of shareholders will be held on September 27, 2024.
3. HA: The U.S. Department of Transportation in a memorandum announced that on August 27, Robert Rivkin, Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of United Airlines (UAL), spoke with Deputy General Counsel Brian Stansbury. Rivkin expressed concerns regarding the potential impact of a merger between Alaska Airlines (ALK) and Hawaiian Airlines (HA) on the cooperation agreements between United and Hawaiian Airlines.
