Merger Arbitrage

1. K: The acquisition of Kellanova Co. (K) by Mars, Incorporated, for a closing value of $35.9 billion. Under the terms of the agreement, Mars will acquire all outstanding equity of Kellanova for $83.50 per share in cash.
2. HA: Hawaiian (HA) and Alaska (ALK) announced that on August 13, the companies agreed with the DOJ to further extend the Review Period to August 16, 2024.
3. JNPR: The Competition Commission of India approves the acquisition of Juniper Networks (JNPR) by Hewlett Packard (HPE).
