Merger Arbitrage

1. SAVE: JetBlue (JBLU) reached an agreement with Spirit Airlines (SAVE) to terminate their July 2022 merger agreement.
2. MDC: M.D.C. Holdings (MDC) and Sekisui House (SKHSY) announced the expiration of the waiting period under the HSR Act on March 1, 2024.
3. SWN: Southwestern Energy Company (SWN) and Chesapeake Energy Corporation (CHK) submitted the required HSR notifications to the FTC and the DOJ on February 1, 2024, and the HSR Act waiting period will expire, if not earlier terminated, on March 4, 2024.
