Merger Arbitrage
- SP: SP Plus (SP) and Metropolis Technologies each received a second request from the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice in connection with the DOJ’s review of the Mergers.
- HARP: Harpoon Therapeutics (HARP) announced special meeting of shareholders to vote on the proposed transaction with Merck & Co (MRK) is scheduled to be held on March 8, 2024.
- IMGN: ImmunoGen (IMGN) and AbbVie (ABBV) each filed a notification and report form pursuant to the HSR Act with respect to the Merger with FTC and DOJ on January 8, 2024. The 30-day waiting period imposed by the HSR Act expired on February 7, 2024, without action by the FTC. The company expects the closing of the transactions contemplated by the Merger agreement to occur on or about February 12, 2024.
