Merger Arbitrage

1. LBAI: Provident Financial (PFS) and Lakeland Bancorp (LBAI) agreed to extend their merger agreement to March 31, 2024, to provide more time to obtain required regulatory approvals.
2. SLGC: Skye Fund III, which owns approximately 3.4 million shares of SomaLogic (SLGC) issued an open letter to the company’s shareholders regarding its opposition to the company’s proposed merger with Standard BioTools Inc. (LAB) and its intention to vote AGAINST the proposed merger at the upcoming special meeting of shareholders scheduled for January 4, 2024.
3. PFIN: The acquisition of P&F Industries, Inc. (PFIN) by ShoreView Industries closed on December 20, 2023. It took 68 days for this deal to complete.
