- ABCM: Dr. Jonathan Milner, the founder of Abcam (ABCM) with a 6.15% ownership in the company, issued an open letter to the company’s shareholders announcing his “Vote AGAINST” campaign and providing them with the opportunity to send a clear message to the Board that they are dissatisfied with the proposed acquisition of Abcam by Danaher Corporation (DHR).
- CELL: The acquisition of PhenomeX (CELL) by Bruker Corporation (BRKR) was completed on October 2, 2023. It took 46 days for this deal to be completed.
- NEWR: The European Commission announced that it has set a provisional deadline of November 7, 2023, to review and rule on the proposed acquisition of New Relic by Francisco Partners and TPG.
