Merger Arbitrage
- ATVI: Microsoft’s (MSFT) acquisition of Activision Blizzard (ATVI) was temporarily blocked by a federal judge in California who said a temporary restraining order was necessary to maintain the status quo while the Federal Trade Commission challenges the deal.
- ACI: The International Brotherhood of Teamsters is formally opposing the merger of The Kroger Company (KR) and Albertsons Companies (ACI) currently under review at the FTC. The Teamsters represent more than 22,000 members across both companies’ stores, distribution centers, and manufacturing plants nationwide.
- HSKA: Mars, Incorporated completed the acquisition of Heska Corporation (HSKA).
