Merger Arbitrage Mondays – January 8, 2018

- The acquisition of Archrock Partners (APLP) by Archrock (AROC) for $2.28 billion in an all stock deal. Under the merger agreement, each outstanding common unit of Archrock Partners that Archrock does not already own will be converted into 1.400 shares of Archrock common stock. AROC is paying $607 million for the portion of APLP it doesn’t already own.
- The acquisition of SCANA Corporation (SCG) by Dominion Energy (D) for $14.6 billion in an all stock deal. Under the terms of the agreement, SCANA shareholders would receive 0.6690 shares of Dominion Energy common stock for each share of SCANA common stock.
