- IHS (IHS) and Markit (MRKT) announced the signing of a definitive agreement under which the companies will combine in an all-share merger of equals. The combined company will be renamed IHS Markit. Under the terms of the agreement, IHS shareholders will receive 3.5566 common shares of IHS Markit for each share of IHS common stock.
- The acquisition of VirtualScopics (VSCP) by BioTelemetry (BEAT) for $15.5 million or $4.05 per share in cash.
