- The acquisition of Jarden (JAH) by Newell Rubbermaid (NWL) for $13 billion in a cash plus stock deal. Under the terms of the agreement, Jarden shareholders will receive $21 in cash and 0.862 shares of Newell Rubbermaid stock at closing.
- The acquisition of Inland Real Estate (IRC) by real estate funds managed by DRA Advisors for $2.3 billion or $10.60 per share in cash.
- The acquisition of Bona Film Group Limited (BONA) by Mountain Tiger International Limited for $1 billion or $13.70 per share in cash.
