- The acquisition of Magnetek (MAG) by Columbus McKinnon Corporation (CMCO) for $188.9 million or $50.00 per share in cash.
- The acquisition of Cytec Industries (CYT) by Solvay for $6.4 billion or $75.25 per share in cash.
- The acquisition of Silvercrest Mines (SVLC) by First Majestic Silver (AG) for $118 million in a cash plus stock deal. Under the terms of the agreement, each SilverCrest shareholder will receive 0.2769 common shares of First Majestic plus C$0.0001 in cash for each SilverCrest common share held.
