- The acquisition of Precision Castparts (PCP) by Berkshire Hathaway (BRK-A, BRK-B) for $37.2 billion or $235 per share in cash.
- The acquisition of Rentech Nitrogen Partners (RNF) by CVR Partners (UAN) for $840 million (including $307 million in net debt) in a cash plus stock deal. Under the terms of the agreement, shareholders of Rentech Nitrogen Partners will receive 1.04 units of CVR Partners and $2.57 cash for each unit held.
- The acquisition of NTELOS Holdings (NTLS) by Shenandoah Telecommunications (SHEN) for $640 million or $9.25 per share in cash.
