- The acquisition of GrafTech International (GTI) by affiliate of Brookfield Asset Management for $546 million or $5.05 per share in cash.
- The acquisition of ANN (ANN) by Ascena Retail Group (ASNA) for $2.15 billion in a cash plus stock deal. Under the terms of the agreement ANN stockholders will receive $37.34 in cash and 0.68 of a share of Ascena common stock in exchange for each share of ANN common stock.
- The acquisition of Omnicare (OCR) by CVS Health Corporation (CVS) for $12.7 billion or $98.00 per share in cash.
