- The acquisition of SWS Group (SWS) by Hilltop Holdings (HTH) for $260 million in a cash plus stock deal. Under the terms of the agreement, shareholders of SWS Group will receive per share consideration of 0.2496 shares of Hilltop common stock and $1.94 of cash.
- The acquisition of DFC Global Corp (DLLR) by an affiliate of Lone Star Funds for $1.3 billion or $9.50 per share in cash.
- The acquisition of Noah Education Holdings (NED) by Rainbow Education Holding Limited in a ‘going private’ transaction for $2.85 per share in cash.
