- The acquisition of Official Payments Holdings (OPAY) by ACI Worldwide (ACIW) for $109 million or $8.35 per share in cash.
- The acquisition of Blackberry Limited (BBRY) by a consortium led by Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited for $4.7 billion or $9.00 per share in cash. A letter of intent has been signed by Blackberry and Fairfax and a definitive merger agreement is expected to be signed around November 4, 2013 after the consortium completes its due diligence.
- The acquisition of Greenway Medical Technologies (GWAY) by Vitera Healthcare Solutions for $644 million or $20.35 per share in cash.
