- The acquisition of Caribou Coffee Company (CBOU) by Joh. A. Benckiser Group for $340 million or $16.00 per share in cash.
- The acquisition of Clearwire Corporation (CLWR) by Sprint Nextel (S) for $2.97 per share in cash. The company will pay $2.2 billion to acquire the 50% stake it doesn’t already own.
- The acquisition of Arbitron (ARB) by Nielsen Holdings N.V. (NLSN) for $48.00 per share in cash.
