It looks like this week could end up being a security nightmare for users and network administrators. I am sure by now all of you have heard about the highly destructive Kama Sutra worm (also known as BlackWorm, MyWife and Nymex) that is supposed to unleash its destructive payload tomorrow Feb 3rd by deleting word documents, excel files, access databases and PDF files. This worm also disables Antivirus software and if you suspect you might be infected search for the file WINZIP_TMP.exe on your computer.
To add to this, there is a new and highly critical vulnerability in the Firefox browser. If you use Firefox, please update your browser to version 1.5.0.1 by obtaining the download from the mozilla website. To top it all off check out this CERT advisory about an extremely critical vulnerability in the Winamp player.
