LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman and Zynga (ZNGA) co-founder Mark Pincus’s SPAC Reinvent Technology Partners (RTP) is nearing a deal to merge with flying taxi developer Joby Aviation, the FT reported.

February 24, 2021: Joby Aviation, a transportation company developing an all-electric, vertical take-off and landing aircraft that it intends to operate as a commercial passenger aircraft beginning in 2024, has entered into a definitive business combination agreement with Reinvent Technology Partners (RTP), a special purpose acquisition company that takes a “venture capital at scale” approach to partnering with bold leaders and companies.
