Israeli chipmaker Valens Semiconductor Ltd. is in talks to go public through PTK Acquisition Corp. (PTK), a blank-check firm, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

May 25, 2021: Valens and PTK Acquisition (PTK) have entered into a definitive business combination agreement. The combined company will be called Valens and will trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “VLN” following the close of the transaction.
