Olin Corporation (OLN) has agreed to acquire Huntsman Corporation (HUN) in a deal estimated to be worth $4.27 billion.

This represents a -12.84% premium based on Huntsman Corporation’s closing price of 15.89 on June 16, 2026. The merger is expected to close in the first half of 2027. Huntsman Corporation sought financial advice from Citi / Morgan Stanley / David Fox, and legal advice from Kirkland & Ellis.

Olin Corporation obtained financial guidance from Lazard and legal counsel by Cravath, Swaine & Moore / Sidley Austin. Huntsman Corporation has an annual dividend payout of 0.35 per share and its stock is optionable.
