American media mogul Byron Allen, who recently bought a majority stake in BuzzFeed (BZFD) and is set to take over Stephen Colbert’s CBS late-night slot, has now set his sights on subscription video provider Starz.

Allen, in March, through his private investment firm, Allen Family Capital, acquired a 10.7% stake in Starz worth $25 million from former US Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, making him the second-largest investor in the company.
