Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) entered a merger agreement on April 14, 2026, to acquire satellite operator Globalstar in a deal valued at $11.68 billion.

We previously wrote about Globalstar in a March 2025 Insider Weekends article and added it to our model portfolio. We exited the position in January 2026 after a nearly 200% gain, a few months before Amazon’s deal materialized.
