Paramount (PSKY) has finally achieved what it set out to do six months ago. It successfully entered into a merger agreement to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery in a deal valued at $110 billion, ending a months-long bidding war after Netflix (NFLX) decided to walk away from its deal with the HBO Max owner.

As a Netflix shareholder, in many ways, I am relieved that this saga is over and Netflix can get back to focusing on its core business.
