Merger Arbitrage

1. ALE: ALLETE (ALE) announced it awaits a written order from the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (MPUC) to execute on the closing of the partnership with CPP Investments and Global Infrastructure Partners.
2. SONM: Sonim Technologies (SONM) announced that it is making significant progress toward completing the sale of its assets to NEXA Mobility (formerly Social Mobile). The deal is expected to close late in the fourth quarter.
3. MRUS: Merus (MRUS) announced that on October 28, the companies filed Premerger Notification and Report Forms under the HSR Act with the FTC and the Antitrust Division. The required 15-day waiting period under the HSR Act will expire on November 12, 2025.
