The 2025 Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting and Associated Events

Three years ago, when I decided to go for the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting in Omaha after meeting a friend for lunch, I did not realize that it was not just a celebration of capitalism but a way for investors to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones at the numerous events that have sprung up around these meetings. I discussed my thoughts about the 2024 meeting in an article called Reading Between the Lines.

The 2025 Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting will be held on Saturday, May 3rd at the CHI Health Center in Omaha. The exhibition center is open the day before on Friday afternoon to allow shareholders to shop from Berkshire companies at discounted prices. Below is a list of events that I plan to attend. Some are difficult to get into and some are part of a group that requires membership but a large number are were open to all with a quick registration.

1. The Berkshire Soiree by Matt Peterson (Peterson Capital Management) – Thursday May 1st from 5 PM to 8 PM CST @ The Omaha Press Club
2. Gabelli Omaha Value Investor Conference Breakfast – Friday May 2nd from 8 AM to 10 AM CST @ The Hilton Omaha
3. ValueX BRK by Guy Spier – Friday May 2nd from 10 AM to 3 PM CST @ Omaha Marriott Downtown

If you decide to go and haven’t yet found your way to Buffett’s home, take a short trip to 5505 Farnam St, Omaha, like I did a couple of years ago with these fine folks:

If you are at any of these events, please stop by and say hello! Which events do you plan to attend this year?
