Cvent Inc. has agreed to merge with a special-purpose acquisition company Dragoneer Growth Opportunities Corp. II (DGNS) in a deal that would take the event-management software company public, according to people familiar with the matter.

July 23, 2021: Cvent and Dragoneer Growth Opportunities Corp. II (DGNS) announced their entry into a definitive business combination agreement. Upon closing, the combined company will operate as Cvent Holding Corp., and is expected to trade under the ticker symbol “CVT.”
