Introduction
Despite this week being a holiday-shortened week with only two days for insiders to file Form 4s with the SEC, we still found a number of interesting insider transactions to examine. For example, we saw Apple’s (AAPL) CEO, Tim Cook, purchase nearly $3 million worth of Nike (NKE). Mr. Cook has served on Nike’s board since 2005, and since we started tracking insider purchases over 15 years ago, this is his first time purchasing shares of any company, not just Nike.
