Merger Arbitrage
- SPR: Boeing (BA) filed the merger notification with the European Commission for its acquisition of Spirit AeroSystems (SPR). The EU has set September 30, 2025, as the provisional deadline for its decision on the merger.
- MAG: MAG Silver (MAG) announced the preliminary results of the elections made by MAG shareholders regarding the form of consideration they wish to receive in connection with the merger with Pan American Silver (PAAS). MAG shareholders of approximately 1.71% of the outstanding MAG Shares elected to receive the Cash Consideration; about 30.55% elected to receive the Share Consideration; and roughly 67.74% did not make a valid election and accordingly were deemed to have elected to receive the Share Consideration.
- INFA: The Federal Trade Commission granted early termination of the waiting period under the HSR Act for the acquisition of Informatica (INFA) by Salesforce (CRM).
