1. SSTK: UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) announced it is investigating the acquisition of Shutterstock (SSTK) by Getty Images (GETY). The end of the initial period and the deadline for the CMA to announce its decision on whether to refer the merger for a Phase 2 investigation are set for October 20, 2025.
2. LVTX: LAVA Therapeutics (LVTX) filed the preliminary proxy statement for its acquisition by XOMA Royalty (XOMA). The company expects the merger to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.
3. FL: Foot Locker (FL) announced that its shareholders voted to approve its acquisition by DICK’S Sporting Goods (DKS) at a special meeting of shareholders. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2025.
