- The acquisition of Ceradyne (CRDN) by 3M Co. (MMM) for $670 million or $35.00 per share in cash.
- The acquisition of Versant Corporation (VSNT) by UNICOM Systems Inc. for $32 million or $11.50 per share in cash.
- We have not included Deutsche Telekom’s merger of T-Mobile into MetroPCS (PCS) in our database as the merger will create a new entity called T-Mobile through the reverse merger of T-Mobile into MetroPCS. MetroPCS shareholders will receive $1.5 Billion in cash and a 26% stake in the combined company. According to Deutsche Telekom,
